I (32F) met a guy (30M) on a dating app over a week ago. We exchanged a couple messages before he asked for my number and I gave it to him the same day we matched. We were texting a little within the next day. Then he asked me when he can take me out on a date. We agreed to meet that night (the day after we matched) for some drinks. He said he was really nervous to meet me, but I tried to make him feel more comfortable.
I drove to his city and we met at one of his favorite bars. He introduced me to his friends/bartenders. I feel like we got along well. We both equally contributed to the conversation and had some good laughs. He kept saying how when football season came back, he’d like to go to the games and invited me. He including me in lots of future plans he had for himself. Then he mentioned the best steak he’s had at a steakhouse nearby and asked if I had been there before. I said no and he asked if I wanted to go there at that moment. I said absolutely because it sounds fun. I offered to pay for my tab at the bar, but he covered it and I thanked him.
He took an Uber to the bar since he lives close by. So he said we can take an Uber to the restaurant or take my car. I said we can take my car. I drove us super close by to the restaurant. We continued the great conversation and he said he’s never brought another woman to this restaurant before. He also told me he had never been on a date with a woman as attractive as me and he complimented me on my looks many times during the date. We also flirted heavily throughout the night and got a little tipsy.
Once we got done at the restaurant, again I offered to pay, and he said no and covered it. I thanked him again. He then asked if I’d like to over to his place and I agreed. We slept together and he asked me to stay the night, so I did. Everything was great. I went home the next morning. He texted me later that day and told me he wanted to cuddle me all day. I told him I could go over and we could cuddle, but he said he had plans with friends that night. I said no worries and told him to have fun. We continued texting for a bit the day after the date and he said he wanted to see me again and I said I’d love that.
Over the next few days, he didn’t really text me. I would reach out to him and he’d either give me a quick call or we’d exchange a couple of messages and that’s it. I can tell he’s not a big texter, which is fine. The one time he did call me, he was in the car with one of his friends. I was on speaker phone and he introduced me to his friend. Does anyone else hate the new design for the iMessage app drawer? I like where it was positioned above the keyboard which made it easy to access with one hand. This new design makes you have to all the way to the top of the phone to select some apps. Not a fan.

I've been a huge Shakespeare nerd since I was 10 years old. Here's a recommendation for you: "1599: A Year in the Life of William Shakespeare" by James Shapiro. I also really enjoyed "The Marlowe Papers" by Ros Barber. She wrote the entire book in iambic pentameter from the perspective of Christopher Marlowe, and it was inspired by the theory that Marlowe faked his death and pretended to be Shakespeare. I need help diagnosing and addressing my brake issues. I’ve been trying to bleed the brakes and get nearly a constant stream of bubbles. I’ve been using a vacuum pump but tried the two person method before with no improvement.
When I pump the brakes and hold it, it holds solid until I let off and then the brake fluid refills the reservoir and it goes to the floor. I also don’t see any leaks in the lines after forcing it to hold pressure. I was thinking at first the air was coming from the bleeder screws having a poor fit but again no leaks and it does pull brake fluid when bleeding.
At this point I’ve gone through 2 quarts of brake fluid so I could really use some advice. I’m not sure why I can’t get the brakes to stop being spongy.
ANY ADVICE WOULD HELP!

I recently bought an old office pc, an optiplex 5050 with a core i5 6500, 16 gb of ddr4, and I slapped a 1050 ti on it to make a budget gaming pc. I also got an ssd on it and installed windows 10 on it. Everything was fine until I booted up borderlands 3, I got an LowLevelFatalError Line 3455 and got a BSOD with the stop code of Critical process died then others of Memory Management. I tired other games and also recieved similar BSOD's. I check the Temps during the games and they look fine on the gpu. They also run really well. The PC can run fine in idle too.
I first tried running memtest86 and it said it passed, but I'm not sure I ran the test correctly. I updated all my drivers using Driver easy. I also investigated more on the Critical Process Died and forums have said it has something to do with the drivers? I'm not sure but I checked on windows system logs and most of every red warning symbol had something related to TMP? Idk what this is but alot of errors are related to that. I'm not sure where to go from here since the errors keep persisting.
I do want to mention that I installed windows 10 using an old USB I had so maybe it's that? Should I try a fresh install of Windows? I also wanted to ask if it could be a hardware issue? I did buy the gpu and overall pc used so it's a possibility, but everything does appear to be working fine apart from the BSOD's

This really does not have to be turned out this way but i was very disappointed with quality of tech support group today. I had an issue with Microsoft365 during my PA so tried yo reach out to instructor and after few emails exchange told me that he does not know what the solution is and told me to contact the tech support. Sp i contacted tech support and first guy who answered phone had very lame and tired voice with no energy to find help anyone whatsoever. So i thought i tried to be little nice and ask him how is he doing?. Then silence for a few seconds and that voice came back again say just what he had to say without response to my caring question. So i told him that i think i catch you in the wrong time, i dont want to bother you and i will try to connect with other person and hung up. Then i called again, and it was a girl who answered but as soon as she picked up the phone i can hear her laughing before she was answering the phone and as soon as i said “how are you doing today?”, she paused again as if she was talking to someone next to her then giggle again and answered my greeting with sarcasm tone and said “i am doing fantastic”. Anyhow, i just want to move forward and fix this issue i have which it was Microsoft365. Now as i am trying to explain, she said she doesnt understand my issue and offer me if we can do mirror screen so she can see what i am talking about. When i tried to get to the page i had an issue i had to go back and forth a bit cause i obviously dont have much experience with this course. It was maybe a minute as i was trying, she start “sigh” and asked me if i need an instructors help not tech support. Then i felt that she doesnt want to help me either from the way she was asking me the question. I told her maybe you are right, i will look for my support from my instructor and hang up.

What's Happening
- Third Party Reddit apps (such as Apollo, Reddit is Fun, and others) are going to become ludicrously more expensive for it's developers to run, which will in turn either kill the apps, or result in a monthly fee to the users if they choose to use one of those apps to browse. Put simply, each request to Reddit within these mobile apps will cost the developer money. The developers of Apollo were quoted around $2 million per month for the current rate of usage. The only way for these apps to continue to be viable for the developer is if you (the user) pay a monthly fee, and realistically, this is most likely going to just outright kill them. Put simply: If you use a third party app to browse Reddit, you will most likely no longer be able to do so, or be charged a monthly fee to keep it viable.
- A big reason this matters to touhou, and why we believe it matters to you, is that according to our sub stats, a fairly decent chunk of the users are on some kind of mobile app. Based on other subs, a decent minority of users are on third party apps (stolen from PCGaming).

So I just got a legendary with Changelings Debt for werebear and I'm not sure if it's procing at all.
I'm currently using the aspect that changes Pulverize into an earth skill and leaves a AoE/DoT on the ground after, which doesn't count as a werebear skill after that correct? I don't see any extra damage from Trample or Maul or maybe I see it occasionally when using maul after activating my poison creepers ability but I see it only seldomly, and haven't seen any extra damage from Trample beyond Tramples original damage. Does it have a CD?
I love the concept of the aspect but I just can't see the extra damage it's supposed to give.

I’ve been taking medicine for various mental illnesses most of my life, even as a child. I have been so ashamed for so long that none of my friends even knew and only one of my closest friends in High School knew I took medicine for depression or whatever. We didn’t really talk about it.
But as I got older I started talking to people who were comfortable with the fact that they have a mental illness.
In the past 5 years I have started to accept my disability and mental illness and when someone becomes close to me, I may tell them. It’s just funny to me that at this point it’s kinda become “trendy” on social media and it even makes me a little angry to see (mostly) teenagers wanting to be sick so badly.
Anyway, does anyone relate to any of this?

Hey, I'm not sure if this is the right subreddit and flair but I'm in need of help.
I recently bought an old office pc, an optiplex 5050 with a core i5 6500, 16 gb of ddr4, and I slapped a 1050 ti on it to make a budget gaming pc. I also got an ssd on it and installed windows 10 on it. Everything was fine until I booted up borderlands 3, I got an LowLevelFatalError Line 3455 and got a BSOD with the stop code of Critical process died then others of Memory Management. I tired other games and also recieved similar BSOD's. I check the Temps during the games and they look fine on the gpu. They also run really well. The PC can run fine in idle too.
I first tried running memtest86 and it said it passed, but I'm not sure I ran the test correctly. I updated all my drivers using Driver easy. I also investigated more on the Critical Process Died and forums have said it has something to do with the drivers? I'm not sure but I checked on windows system logs and most of every red warning symbol had something related to TMP? Idk what this is but alot of errors are related to that. I'm not sure where to go from here since the errors keep persisting.
I do want to mention that I installed windows 10 using an old USB I had so maybe it's that? Should I try a fresh install of Windows? I also wanted to ask if it could be a hardware issue? I did buy the gpu and overall pc used so it's a possibility, but everything does appear to be working fine apart from the BSOD's
Any help is appreciated

I recently decided to upgrade my gaming setup from the traditional tv/console style. I purchased a gaming laptop (razer brand) and a acer gaming monitor (as well as razer huntsman elite keyboard and razer naga mouse). I also have a PS5 that I play frequently.My conundrum is figuring out how to set this all up to where it is ready to go and doesn't require me to constantly move my HDMI cord from laptop to PS5.
Razer laptop: 3 - USB 3.0 ports 2 - USB C ports (thunderbolt) HDMI port
Acer monitor: 1 - HDMI port 1.4 1 - DisplayPort 1 - DVI (w/HDCP)
Currently I move the HDMI cord from laptop to PS5 when I need to swamp, however this will be hard to do soon as the new desk I bought has a mounted back for the monitor and custom shelves for me to set my laptop and PS5 on. I know daisy chaining isn't an option, however it would be easier for me to plug/unplug the cords from the back of the consoles vs the monitor. I've researched HDMI to DisplayPort's for a possible solution but I am not sure if this would work, and if it does would it work ok with the PS5 connection?

She works Monday - Friday and occasionally helps on the weekends too. We have a small vacation planned in the coming weeks but I feel like she needs a break sooner rather than later.
Here's what I did: I contacted her boss (her boss has been a friend of both our families for years) and asked if she could find someone to cover for my wife this coming Friday. Her boss said it would be no problem at all because some other staff have been looking for more hours anyway. Then, I booked a massage and facial for her. Normally on Fridays we go to breakfast and then I drop her off at work. My plan was to go to breakfast, take her to work, and then her boss would surprise her with the news that she has the day off. I'd then take her to her appointment then back home to rest or do whatever she wants.
Here's the conflict I need help with: I told her family about this and we are evenly divided on whether or not this would upset my wife. Her mother and I think she would like the surprise and enjoy the day off. Her father and sister disagree and say it would upset her to be away from her job (again, she really does love her work).
WIBTA for following through with this plan? Her boss is already on board (just waiting for the official go-ahead) and everything is booked but I still have time to cancel if needed.

2023.06.06 04:39 City_slickertm I feel like I’m always searching for this “lock in” feeling.
All my life I’ve always wanted to maintain this feeling of not having anything I need to immediately take care of. The only problem is that I know this literally isn’t possible, because this is real life and I will always have responsibilities and more than likely will always have something that requires my attention. I think it’s a big reason that my happiness is circumstantial and that I’m at my best when I can have that feeling. I hope this makes sense the way I’m saying it. Does anyone have experience with something similar and if so what are some ways you’ve learned to cope?
