2023.06.06 05:39 MexicanHaloween How can I get her back?
Hi. I hope you can help, but if not thanks for taking the time anyway hahahaha.
I(M 19) need help on how to ask my ex(F 19) out. We were boyfriends for almost 2 years, on February I had a very difficult family situation regarding my dad and long story short three weeks later she said she needed one month off. After a month passed we met and she said she needed to be alone for a while but that she still loved me. It’s been almost two months and I have taken this time to work on myself and I feel like I’m in a place where I can and want to get back with her. We have texted a bit and it’s on like really intense sessions, like at least 4 continuos hours each. Please give me the advice you Can on how to handle the situation. I know many might think that I should just let it go (and I might) but I feel like she is the one (if that’s even a thing) and it would torment me my whole life if I don’t do anything. Thanks for your time and I hope you can help me!

2023.06.06 05:35 LaceyDarlin I'm going to Scotland
My boyfriend just bought us plane tickets to Scotland last night. It was a spur of the moment decision. We've never been out of the United States so we're both really excited.
I can't stop thinking about what we'll do and where we'll go... and what I'll wear... and how I'll feel...
Our trip isn't until September. I'm really so excited to go, and he and I have been together for 6 years and I'm thinking he might propose. He's been dropping hints about it and I dunno I'm just so excited and so in love.
I need help. I'm from Florida, so it's been awhile since I've been anywhere cooler than 70°, so I don't really have any clothes. Obviously, I have 3 months to figure it all out, but I'm just nervous about how I'll look in 3 months.
Any tips on how to feel better and let loose and enjoy my time with him there?? Also, any suggestions on what to wear?? I already have a really cute teddy bear fleece coat in my Amazon cart lol, but I seriously have no idea how to dress for the cold and I have no idea what's considered "cute" for a 21 year old to wear out in public like in a city with cold weather or anything.
Keep in mind... I have absolutely NO fashion sense lmao. Please help a silly cold girl with poor self-esteem feel comfortable!
Thank you! I love you guys <3

2023.06.06 05:35 AccomplishedPop7116 Question about Weather stripping
This might be a dumb question but if I remove the weather stripping from my car to route my dash cam wires, will I be able to pop the weather stripping back in after?
On my car it seems like the weather stripping is attached with some sort of adhesive. I'm worried that if I pull the weather stripping down, the adhesive won't stick when I put it back.
I couldn't find any info online. Any help is appreciated. Thanks!!

- Local Guides/Porters: Hiring a local guide or porter can enhance your trekking experience. They are knowledgeable about the trail, local culture, and can assist with carrying your luggage.
- Trekking Insurance: Purchase comprehensive travel insurance that covers emergency evacuation, medical expenses, and loss of belongings.
- Respect Local Culture: Respect the local customs, traditions, and beliefs of the communities you encounter along the way. Dress modestly and be mindful of your actions.
- Proper Trekking Etiquette: Follow the Leave No Trace principles by avoiding littering and preserving the natural environment. Be considerate to other trekkers and locals on the trail.
- Trekking Accommodation: Book teahouse accommodations in advance, especially during peak trekking seasons. Carry a sleeping bag for added comfort and warmth.
- Weather Awareness: Be prepared for unpredictable weather conditions. Pack both warm and lightweight clothing to layer accordingly.
- Enjoy the Journey: Lastly, enjoy the trek and embrace the stunning landscapes. Take breaks to rest, take photographs, and interact with fellow trekkers to create memorable experiences.
Remember, these tips are meant to provide general guidance. It's always recommended to consult with a professional trekking agency or experienced trekkers for specific advice based on the current conditions and your personal requirements.

I bought the summer pass but didn't use the opportunity to pre-book. I'm considering getting the fall but want to book a bunch of trips in Sept, Oct, and Nov. I'm in Nebraska so mostly fly to Denver then to destination, but also can drive to Kansas City 3 hours away. . I'd love to go outside of the US . I've never been anywhere over seas. We have a flexible schedule so I'm not too worried about that part. The problem is, I have no idea where to go, and if the weather is OK during that time Id love to hear suggestions and where some of you are going or have been and any other information you'd share! submitted by Silver_Image_6802 to gowildfrontier [link] [comments]

2023.06.06 05:32 Ready-Big7339 does anyone else get a period of dp dr every certain amount of time?
i wrote all this shit down so i know the dates and stuff
my first attack hit 12/27/2015 and it lasted all of january 2016 pretty much ( i was 12 ), nothing even trigegred it, i was just chillin on my bed reading a book and suddenly i felt like i wasn't real and i was in a simulation
my 2nd hit december 15 2017 and that one lasted about a month too
my 3rd hit february 1st 2020 and that lingered around like 2 months
and my last one hit january 3 2022 and lasted a couple of months as well
i can't get over it, it's like every 2 years ( and during the winter too )i'm chillin and then i get this sort of panic attack thing where i question existence and lose touch with reality a bit... it's the worst the first few days and then for the next few weeks or months i still feel weird, question existence, feel like shit ain't real, what happens after death, etc
but then, i will snap back and be fine for the remainder of that 2 years until the next one hits
and what else is weird is i have never smoked weed in my life either lmfao, lots of people say they get it from weed but i got it from who knows what
this winter will mark 2 years since my last one, i wonder if it will happen again?

2023.06.06 05:31 HomerCrew Xcaret or Isla Mujeres
Xcaret has a 20% off sale right now through tomorrow. Is this something that happens frequently?
Visiting end of July - Aug in the HZ most of the time.
Bringing a toddler and some older family, with likely just 1 day out of the resort for this trip. Normally we'd be more active (like do both easily) but it's just not the objective this time.
Previously had written off Xcaret due to the ~1hr bus ride and costs left me doubting if it was worth it. However, I think it'd be a little more unique and exciting for everyone.
The sale brings the "Xcaret Plus" costs down to about $10 more than general admission, but includes buffet and transportation.
I'm also traveling with some non-swimmers and even with a life jackets...a couple golf carts on Isla seems like a better chance of being stress free.

2023.06.06 05:27 Educational-Text1556 A few options...
I just graduated from grad school & the place I'll be working at is about 33 miles from home. I currently drive a 2016 428i gran coupe with 107k miles. I've put on 54k miles since 2020, and have been evaluating my options of vehicles to drive moving forward. I live in New England where winter weather is a factor. Here are the scenario's I'm deciding between.
- Should I run this car to the ground then buy a Bmw 3 series?(Newer gen) Unsure if this is the best idea for a car to put lots of hwy miles on.
- Run to the ground then buy a 2023 or newer accord to commute & buy a winter beat around car.
- Purchase an older used reliable car to commute while preserving the life of my BMW. (Budget 10k)
What option should I choose & any vehicle recs?

2023.06.06 05:25 falserings Can planet fitness send me to into collections because my credit card expired?
So I have a membership with planet fitness but I always forget to cancel it.
Anyways, I recently noticed that they haven’t been taking money out of my account. I didn’t think much of it but I just realized it’s because my credit card expired in February so now I have a new card and I never updated it on my file. Can they send me into collections?
They’ve never called or emailed me telling me to pay. Last year, my credit card had declined and they sent me a text saying “there was a problem with your payment” but I haven’t heard from them this time.

2023.06.06 05:25 Cool_Strength_9137 Negative gearing, renting and taxes?
Missus and I bought our home (first home owners, claimed stamp duty benefits etc) in regional NSW last year (around February 2022). We lived there until Feb 2023. We then managed to leave and visit family overseas after the border closures for 3 months…
We are back and will be renting a place to live (back in Sydney due to work commitments) and our property is now being leased (and intend to keep it that way indefinitely as our work situation has changed :( )
I’m not sure what to do in terms of taxes, loan adjustments, etc.
As far as I understand we will pay tax for the rental income, not sure if I should change the type of loan we got (as initially it was for owner occupier) and more importantly, would the tax man be chasing us for life?
As expected our rental income is lower than our repayments. I’m not sure whether we can / should play the negative gearing game or not, and if so what adjustments I would need to do to comply with the system… I’m of course chatting to my accountant soon but I’d like to get an understanding of potential avenues to explore.
Anyways, I’d be keen to hear your thoughts on what to expect or do in this situation ✌🏼

2023.06.06 05:23 redryder74 X100 - how to avoid condensation issues inside the lens?
I live in the humid tropics, and I've had this X100 for a long time (1st gen model). I keep it in a dry box, but it could be that the dry box is not working well.
In any case, what happened was that when I went to Japan last year during winter, I noticed that my shots were blurry and blooming when there was a light source. It looked exactly like looking through fogged up spectacles at a light. I kept wiping the lens to no effect, so most probably the condensation was on the inside.
I didn't bring a camera bag with me, and the camera was kept in my jacket pocket throughout the trip. It might have been condensing whenever I move in and out of the cold, or even when I just take it out of my jacket to shoot.
I'm looking to upgrade from the X100 since it's really old now, but how common is this issue when shooting during winter? Do I need to look for a weather sealed camera?

2023.06.06 05:22 JohnnyArlo How Mayor Brown with save Buffalo from freezing …..Next Winter.
From CTV During the four-day storm, Buffalo had a lack of proper equipment and the response disproportionately affected communities of colour, according to the report by New York University researchers. The report made several recommendations to help the city prepare for the next winter season:
The mayor’s office said Friday that New York state has allocated US$10 million to the construction of a new public works facility. Buffalo Mayor Byron Brown commissioned the report in an effort to “better prepare for future blizzards of this magnitude,”
- Build greater partnerships with state, federal and private sector officials
- Bolster the city’s Emergency Operations centre, establish a full-time emergency manager in the city and secure more funding for a new Department of Public Works facility
- Improve emergency communications to residents and expand enrollment in the city’s text messaging system
- Announce travel bans earlier ahead of poor weather
- Develop an “extreme event management plan” in the city
the report says.
“These were extreme weather conditions. Our city bore the brunt of this historic blizzard,” Brown said in a statement Friday. “In the days prior to the storm and after the storm, I’ve taken proactive steps to help ensure a better response for future storms.” The nine university researchers and advisers said the report “aims to help the city move forward and make meaningful progress” and “should help place Buffalo in a better position to prepare, respond, and recover from major storms ahead.”
Anyone else remember the blizzard of '95?
Perhaps Buffalo is still using the equipment from back then. The 1995/96 blizzard was so bad, that snow season even ended up producing snow until MAY of the following year
Brown is from Buffalo he knows how winter is, and only now, after 31 deaths, are there investments in new equipment.

2023.06.06 05:21 BeltalowdaOPA22 Vising this month, please help with a few questions I have about the city?
I've been to LA a handful of times, but not in a good 20 years, and I am super excited to go back. I'll be staying in Gardena.
- How readily available are Zip Cars (or similar)? Google tells me LA has them, but I'm not sure how prevalent they are. Does anyone know how likely I am to be able to rent one for an afternoon?
- Could I get some recommendations on a niceish place to have a birthday dinner somewhere within say, a $20 uber ride from Gardena? I'm pretty open to all cuisines except Italian (I love it, but I don't digest pasta well), and would ideally like to not spend more than $200 for two people for dinner and drinks.
- This may be a dumb question, but should I expect rain during the last 2 weeks of June? Years ago, when I was visiting a friend in the area, I told her it looked like it would rain, and she was adamant that it wouldn't, because she said it just wasn't the time of year for rain. I live in Michigan where the weather might do anything at any time, so that blew my mind.
