I blame this series loss on maurice, instead of HOLDING OUR team accountable and saying stuff we could’ve done better he just. Said “just breathe” as someone who consistently coaches, that is the response of a man with 0 adjustments, Cassidy is outcoaching the hell outta PoMo. And it’s showing. PoMo was riding a hot tender and now that he actually has to coach and make adjustments, he’s shitting the bed. And looks panicked

2023.06.06 03:53 Aanstadt October trip planning
Hey there everyone. Grew up about a mile from Disneyland (my childhood home is technically on the map of Disneyland in the Disneyland app). Always had an annual pass ($99/year back then to really date myself), but moved out of state in my 20’s. So it’s been forever since I’ve been there and so much has changed. Planning on taking my five year old daughter this October. Hoping to get tickets to the Oogie Boogie bash. I saw those go on sale in a few weeks.
Any who. My question is, when will mid October dates be available for me to purchase tickets and make my reservation?
Can I buy tickets now for two days of park hopping without a reservation? Then make the reservation once our dates open up?
With so many constant rumors about ticket increases, I’m trying both get tickets as cheap as I can, and also make sure I get reservations made as soon as possible so we don’t miss the dates we are going to be in town.
Truly appreciate all your advice.

2023.06.06 03:53 TheCaptainHustle Almost beaten up by a racist on a NYC bus.
I am still pretty shook after what happened yesterday when my gf and I were travelling on a bus going to Staten Island from Broadway.
We are both Indians, if that matters.
It was our last day in NYC and in America as tourists. We were going back before midnight to our place in SI.
Exhausted, we boarded the bus only to realise that my gf left her phone at the bus stop.
To make matters worse, only her phone has a US SIM card, making my phone virtually useless without WiFi (ran out of data).
We asked the driver if he could stop but understandably, he told us that the next stop is in 15 mins.
While waiting, I asked a person who boarded the bus after us if I could borrow his phone to make a phone call to my family.
I dialled my family, told them that we are safe and to call on her phone to see if we can retrieve it before it gets stolen.
I was speaking in my native language, because that is what I am used to.
While speaking on the phone, I suddenly realised the person who gave me the phone cut it mid-call and snatched the phone away from me.
He may have gotten triggered by something he heard in my language. I was pretty weirded out but chalked it up to “people are different”.
My family who wanted more information called back the number, only to be met with raging abuse on the part of the stranger whose phone I borrowed.
It took me a while to understand that this guy is talking to my family. He kept threatening to punch me in the face to my family and upon hanging up, he started a vitriolic speech that referred to my gf and I as lying scammers who used his phone to gain access to his finances.
He went on to claim that he stopped me midway from coordinating with an international operator to scam his money.
He called on all the people on the bus to look at the scammers he caught AKA us. It was scary and humiliating to say the least.
The strangest thing is I know not to mess with randos, so I selectively chose a guy who seemed the most innocuous. This is as opposed to the guy seated next to me unapologetically watching porn.
Aghast, I thought someone on the bus would step in (they do in my country) but they looked at us like scammers and didn’t show any reluctance in taking videos of us in the moment (the videography could be positive but everything seemed so sinister at the time).
In hindsight, I should have probably spoken in English but English is not my first or second language. It was a force of habit to talk to my family in my native tongue in a distressed situation.
To add insult to injury, he started asking the bus driver to stop the bus and kick us out.
He kept going and going. Obviously, I was trying not to engage but when there is a more than likely chance of getting punched, it is hard to look away.
I kept telling myself that he could have a gun to prevent myself from instinctively appealing or even picking up my phone to call 9-1-1 (SOS).
He got off at the next stop, yelling at us to get down with him. My gf spoke to the driver who was kind enough to understand that we didn’t feel safe being dropped in the same stop.
We got down at the stop after that, ran to a convenience store and called our family to emolliate them and to let them know that we are safe.
Boy, that could have been a whole lot worse! Tarnished an otherwise spectacular nyc trip.
Note that we have been travelling the US for a month now with 0 bad experiences. Don’t know how to feel about returning after being made to feel unsafe in this way.
Writing this post to get it off my chest and vent.

2023.06.06 03:52 kmtwb I was tormented by a spirit(?) my first 2 years of univerisity
In 2020, I moved over 6 hours away from my hometown in Southern Ontario to attend University up north. I moved into my down with my best friend from high school whom I had known for years. In this building, it is important to note that it has been around since the school was first built however it is frequently renovated and worked on because it more often than normal, catches fire (more details later).
So, to set the scene: it's 2020, mid-pandemic and I had just been discharged from the army. My best friend and I had applied for the same university major and had decided that if we got in that we would live together. Well, sure enough, we got in and the only dorm that could accommodate our room request (i.e. moving into the same apartment with separate bedrooms) was situated directly across from a hospice. and for those that don't know a hospice is a medical facility where people go when they are close to death to live out the end of their lives in as much comfort as possible. This hospice was the only view out of our small windows and was the only one in our area.
Now, as I mentioned earlier, the building frequently caught fire, but what was odd and worth mentioning about it, was that it only caught fire in apartment #5 on any given floor. My best friend and I lived on the 5th floor in the 5th apartment for 2 years even throughout the summer and fortunately, we never had a fire, but frequently found ourselves having to accommodate firefighters and other workers entering our rooms due to the smoke and water damage from various different fires from random floors directly above us. Along with my BFF, I had two other roommates who were very vocal about when they were home or not (we had a group chat), and for all these experiences they were never home. or even in the city for that matter. My BFF and I both got jobs working at a Lvl 1 Trauma Center as nightshift security and thus paranormal stuff didn't scare us as we frequently were forced to work in the morgue and even witness people die on a daily basis, with whole bunch of other things happening (maybe stories for another time).
The main experience that happened early on was when my BFF and I both awoke to hear someone going through our cupboards and garbage in the kitchen, which was right against my bedroom wall, thus making it super loud. it was about 1pm and because we were on night shift, it was our version of 1am. So, thinking my best friend had gotten up oddly early I went to talk to her, but when I opened my door there was no one. I woke her up quietly and we searched the entire apartment and hallways with whatever we could use as weapons. There was no one but everything was open, our fridge, the oven, drawers, and cabinets. As well, our garbage had been thrown across the room. All the breakers in our apartment had been switched off as well, which we didn't discover at first. It is important to mention that the only entry into our apartment, that being the front door, automatically locked when closed so it was most definitely locked 24/7. I called building security and no one had been seen on camera entering our dorm except for my BFF and me around 8am after we had gotten off work at the hospital. there was no explanation for who had done this but still, they took our statements and said they'd do patrols, they never found more information.
Over 3 months later, it was summer and my BFF and I had been 2 of 11 people left in the building over the summer, with the rest being mostly just international students who could afford to do quarantine protocols again in September as it took 2 weeks. We were the only ones on our floor but regularly heard stomping outside in the hall but neither of us never saw anyone through our peephole or even when we often heard knocks on the front door, however when we checked, no one every time. So aside from the knocking and stomping, super quiet summer except for one morning. I'll never forget it it shook us to the bone.
It was 10am and my roommate and I were asleep after work. I never locked my bedroom door as my bff loved to come in and hang all the time but for some reason, I locked it that entire week. and good thing too because I awoke to frantic and I mean FRANTIC knocking- no pounding on my bedroom door. I was obviously super disoriented as I had just finished a 12 hour shift a few hours earlier, but I saw two dark shadows under the door resembling feet. I figured my bff needed something and woke up but I called out before getting up because I was annoyed to be awake this early. The feet stayed unmoving but the knocking stopped. with a heavy sigh, I got up threw on a sweater and checked the time (it was around 10am), and went to open the door, with the shadows still there I assumed it was my bff. When I put my hand on the handle to unlock it, I heard a thud, and then, worried if my bff had fallen, I threw the door open to see my front door closing as if someone was just leaving. I ran over and saw a completely black figure turn the corner. I followed (my security guard instincts kicking in) but when I turned the corner, nothing. I went back and my roommate asked why I was knocking on the walls like that, she heard it from inside my room on an adjoining shared wall to both our bedrooms. we again called security but only I was seen chasing after nothing on the cameras. After my boyfriend, a firefighter started sleeping over frequently because were both spooked, the fires stopped, and most other things did too. We never had another incident on this level. We moved out after 2 years there and beyond hearing the usual bang, no other issues.

2023.06.06 03:52 eldensheldon I Want To Cut Off My Mother
My (20M) relationship with the entirety of my family has always been shaky at best. I don't have any contact to my Dad's side because he wasn't even a part of my life until I was 17, I've only had my mother's side.
This is why this question is so daunting to me, because I know how horrible of a woman my mother (46F) is, but how everyone will side with her. In cutting her off, I would cut off everyone, too. But it's been 20 years and I'm sick of it.
I've been abused and treated as the 'mistake' which my father and mother made. For reference, I'm the youngest of three and was conceived when my parents were drunk and lonely because they momentarily seperated, thus causing me. Yay.
I was raised by my mother only, and she couldn't have cared less about me. Ignoring the physical and mental abuse, the neglect and belittling was something which turned me into a child who was forced to mature too quickly.
My mother has told her friends of confidential conversations with my therapist, which she had to attend because I was a minor. My mother expects me to do everything. Despite one of my two siblings living here too, despite my job and college, I must also be the maid of the house. I do every single solitary thing, and if I don't, I am the bad guy.
She meets my struggles with an air of annoyance and disappointment, has never congratulated me on the successes I've achieved and does all of this while parading with the idea that she is a loving mother.
I have never felt so lied to in my life than when she has told me she loves me. All times she has said so, I can count on hand. Two of those times after depressive episodes.
I guess when the work horse starts limping you take better care of it.
But, without me, her entire world collapses. No one to do her dishes, no one to clean her house spotless, no one to give her money because she's too busy spending her own on things she doesn't need. No expecting so many things to be done by default. I can just leave and it'll ruin everything for her. Her perfect little world which she has manipulated me to believe I should do to make her happy would be dismantled. I already know this.
I've left once before, only for a week, but I went on a holiday with my friends and when I came back the house was a wreck. Also. I didn't even make it as far as wheeling my suitcase into the house before she asked me to do something for her.
But I seem to be the only family member who sees this, or has been treated like this. Under her thumb for 20 years. Her and my siblings get along amazingly, assumingly because they were the planned children. Her and her siblings and mother butt heads but nothing family breaking, although my mother does throw the odd tantrum and acts like a disgruntled brat who didn't get the girls McDonald's toy.
Its just me. I know that they would never listen, so if I cut off her, I cut off everyone and for reference - I don't hate my entire family. My grandmother for example, I love. I don't know my dad well enough to go to him if I do cut my mother off as me and him have only talked three times in my entire life, wish I was exaggerating.
I just don't know what to do Sorry for the very long, rant-esque context, but I feel like it's important to really note why I'm considering this as many people dismiss it because "she's your mother". I don't care who she is. A person should not get a pass simply because they are related. It's not an ideal scenario but it's the one I'm in.
I'm well aware that she is the woman who brought me into this world. But I am also aware that she did not want to. She always wanted two children and she got that. She wanted a boy and a girl, and as luck would have it, she had exactly that. Then her relationship got shaky which led to her fucking drunk and lonely, like any normal human being. I need to respect her because she brought me into the world? Even though she only did so because she felt as though she had to?
For further reference I'm still living with her, in a job which doesn't pay me enough to move out and I'm single making the idea of moving in with someone impossible, and my friends all have their own thing going on. I'm just stuck.
I cannot stand her, but I'm already alone as it is because of self-isolation. So I'd just lose even more people and I don't know if that's something that I have the strength to do.
I don't know. Mommy issues fr
(apologies for angry tones)
TL:DR - Abusive egotistical mother who has treated me awfully for 20 years has my family in her backpocket and cutting her off would mean I'd cut off everyone else along the way. Dad's side is a no no. However I want to cut her off.

2023.06.06 03:52 Human_Bean08 This weekend sucked
I also posted this on
FTMmen.
My stepsisters had their graduation party this weekend and their whole family was there. My step-dad's sister asked me "what's your name again?" The last time she saw me, I hadn't come out as trans yet but I hoped she had forgotten about me because I've only met her once or twice. I told her my name and she said "oh...I could've of sworn your name was different. I guess not" I just kind of laughed it off and hoped she had bought it.
Later at the party, my parents were talking to her and she had pointed to me and said "she". My step-dad corrected her and she replied with "wait what? That's a girl right?" and my step-dad said "no he's a boy" and she just said "no that's a girl!". Some other lady looked at her and said "it's 𝘵𝘩𝘢𝘵 month again..." and rolled her eyes.
I just walked away after that. I hid in my room and waited until the party was over to come out. I thought that I was doing a pretty ok job at passing. I was wearing a binder, I have short hair, and I have a somewhat androgynous voice. Plus I'm only 15 so my voice could maybe pass as a boy who hadn't hit puberty. I'd experienced mild transphobia before, but this just hit harder. And I think it's mainly because the little transphobia I'd experienced before came from family and a couple people I knew at school. But I barely even know this woman. If she doesn't see me as a dude, then how could anyone else in public?

2023.06.06 03:52 reagantrex 25 [M4F] Orlando, Florida - Friends or Something More
Hello everyone! I got over my skepticism and decided to post because you never know.
I’m brazilian living in US. I do speak Portuguese and was raised there until 17y.o.
I enjoy talking, flirting, banter, and I’d say I’m witty. But I also enjoy and actively engage in deep conversations. Keeping the conversation flowing has never been difficult to me.
I love music and nearly every genre, EDM is my favorite but trust me I love to listen to so much I couldn’t even list them all.
My main interest atm are chess, videogames, anime, boxing, and the gym. I am often fascinated when shown new things so please do tell me about your passions and hobbies. Other smaller hobbies include: roller skating, long boarding, swimming, reading, singing, piano. I like a lot of things.
My looks: I have hazel eyes, brown medium curly hair with shaved sides, kept beard & thick eyebrows, 6ft, big build, 3 tattoos, and I can’t not sound conceited when I say this but everyone I know agrees I’m fairly attractive.
Requirements: no strongly religious individuals. I respect your religion but we won’t get along very well. It’s fine if you enjoy practicing though as long as you’re not expecting that as something we’ll have in common.
Friends: I’d like to clarify that for friends I don’t care about your gender, age, or what you look like.
Something more: around my age, slightly younger, or quite older is fine. I just need a certain level of mindset and maturity. As far as looks go, I am only interested in your character and don’t have a preference on how you look - skinny, average, chubby, tall, short, hairstyle, ethnicity, etc, it does not matter. If you have a good head on your shoulders and can entertain a conversation you’re good to go.
Can you tell I like talking? Haha

Employees of all levels can work together in data science to improve company decisions. It is more crucial that they comprehend the science underlying how data functions to do the goals. Data science is an interdisciplinary field that provides a fresh understanding of real-world data. It applies structured statistical and computational methods. These techniques involve data collection, profiling, data manipulation, modelling, and interpretation. More and more people are going for a data science course, because of their excellent job opportunities. Read on to know more about data science. What Is Data Science? In simple words, Data science ( https://www.theiotacademy.co/blog/why-is-there-a-need-for-a-data-analyst) is the process of gaining knowledge through technical and statistical methods. It is a multidisciplinary field that involves extracting knowledge from large data sets. Moreover, it utilises data to make informed business decisions. This field employs statisticians, data scientists, analysts, and architects, among others. The demand for data science specialists is anticipated to increase in the upcoming years. It is because data science applications like artificial intelligence (AI), machine learning (ML), and deep learning (DL) are being integrated and used across industries. Prerequisites for Data Science Anyone curious to learn more about data science might start by researching some of the prerequisites. Different businesses require various levels of training. A career as a data analyst requires different qualifications than a position as a machine learning engineer. Below are a few requirements for becoming a successful data scientist: Mathematical Skills The majority of data science experts have a solid foundation in mathematics. Data scientists have a wide range of educational backgrounds, including those in engineering, physics, and economics. You may excel in data science if you are good at calculus, algebra, statistics, and probability. SQL Expertise SQL, or Structured Query Language, is used by data scientists and other professionals. It helps to create queries. Any profession with data requires at least the most fundamental SQL knowledge. SQL is covered in most data science boot camps, but it's a good idea to be familiar with it before you begin studying data science. Knowledge Of OOPs Those who are new to Python, which is essential for many data science professions, can benefit from having experience with Java or C coding. Python is widely regarded as one of the simplest "first languages" in computer programming by experts. Python is widely regarded as one of the simplest "first languages" in computer programming by experts. Python is either the focus of a course or is covered as part of a larger curriculum. Programs like Noble Desktop's data science programs also rely on it. What Are The Data Science Applications? Statistical methods, algorithms, scientific methods, diverse technologies, etc. can all be used for data processing. Data science is the primary technique used by almost all businesses to launch their work into an imaginative orbit. Below are a variety of data science applications: - Detection of fraud and risk
- Language Recognition
- targeted advertising
- sophisticated image recognition
- Augmented reality in gaming
Use Cases Of Data Science Below are some of the common use cases of data science: Optimization Of Manufacturing Processes Data science can be used by manufacturing businesses to identify which manufacturing processes. Especially those that require more attention and manpower. Data scientists gather and analyse various types of manufacturing data. They apply data science applications in manufacturing to decrease operational redundancy. Image Analysis in Healthcare There are many crucial uses for data science in the healthcare or medical fields. One of them is the study or analysis of medical images. With the aid of data analytics and machine learning, illnesses may be recognised in pictures. Healthcare professionals will soon be able to diagnose patients more precisely. With machine learning, study of datasets and images has become simpler. Internet Searches Data science ( https://www.theiotacademy.co/blog/how-much-a-data-engineer-may-earn-in-india) is used by search engines to understand user behaviour and search patterns. It is important to deliver the most relevant results to study user patterns. These search engines use a variety of data science methodologies and tricks. Search engines like Google and others are growing better at replying to inquiries within seconds as time goes on. Even Bing and Yahoo are using it. E-Commerce Application Companies employ data science applications in e-commerce to calculate the Customer Lifetime Value. It helps understanding how important a customer is to their firm. By looking at the customer's purchases, online searches, product preferences, and other website activities, this is accomplished. Conclusion Data science is a booming technology with high job opportunities. You need some programming and statistical expertise to work as a data scientist. Moreover, it has wide application across various fields like e-commerce, healthcare and banking. 2023.06.06 03:51 Forsaken_Wins13 Question
So I have a 2 year old female Corso. ( I think we rescued her) she’s a big girl at 130lbs We just moved from neighborhood to out in the country on land where there’s a lot of coyotes and raccoons etc. she lives indoors but loves to roam and has already been chasing a coyote. Who doesn’t seem to be too scared of her. At vet he recommended because of wildlife and possible interaction I crop her ears bc he says that’s what they’ll go for or rip off? Is this true?? I never cropped or wanted to but don’t care either way. But I heard if there not a puppy then the ears don’t set anyway. I don’t mind doing a very low crop if it’s necessary. So question, is this necessary?

2023.06.06 03:50 Professional-Ground4 My take on Faygo not dropping
I think travis is really trying to make Faygo the next don toliver just with a premade fanbase. Travis signed Faygo with more control of his career just with the cactus jack label behind him to support, which is why we got Don and Pharrell on pink hearts. But Faygo hasn’t really been pushed much, which is fine since the main fans are still here and we will listen. But I do feel travis will use Faygo on utopia due to his singing which is more like ph was. With new music soon to drop( next year), dudes got some bangers dropping to make his fans happy and to play on playlists to grow his numbers and then Utopia drops, Faygo blows up, drops album later this year and boom done Just like Don. Just my idea tho.

2023.06.06 03:50 ThrowRadumbdragon I need help with my partner (19F) and me (18F)
My girlfriend (19F) and I, (18F) have been dating since September. My friend, who I introduced to her had a history of flirty behavior with people, and that could be impacting my perception of the situation. Here’s the situation: we all joined a voice call while playing a game, and I became uncomfortable as they were sexually talking, joke sure, but still is getting to me. It made me uncomfortable and I understand potential reasons that are making it worse. I am still insecure about us, and we haven’t set any guidelines around it. I historically have been a people pleaser and dislike causing anything I feel is a issue or annoyance. Is it best to confront it, and tell her how it’s uncomfortable and set up a rule around it now, or would letting it go be best? How should I deal with this situation if it happens again? TLDR: my girlfriend is sexually talking with a friend, it’s uncomfortable to me and I need advice and another opinion on how to deal with it.

2023.06.06 03:50 PedroAntunes22 Would you invest in someone who just ended a relationship (and didn’t want to) about a month ago?
I’m feeling kind of lost rn because I met this wonderful guy online who reached out to me and wanted us to meet up. We had the most wonderful conversations for a few days. He said he was not actively looking for anything serious but was open feelings if they happened. Then yesterday we went for a coffee together. I was not thinking of anything serious, although I really enjoyed talking to him, but as soon as I saw him I felt like everything clicked for me. Something I haven’t felt for years.
We had our date, and then we headed to my place. I opened a bottle of wine, we talked for a long time and eventually he told me he had broken up with his bf about a month ago because the guy had to go abroad and the relationship couldn’t go on for them with such distance. He is still really sad about it and didn’t hide it. Also he’s not sure if his ex will be coming back sometime or staying abroad. I feel like he’s not really over that relationship.
A while later that night we hooked up. There was no penetration but we did everything else, if you what I mean. And it was just perfect, we got along so well, and today I felt like I really wanted to see him again tonight. I feel like I already caught some feelings and it will hurt to lose this guy. And this is not the usual me at all . We’ve been texting throughout the day but I feel really anxious because of this situation with his ex, as if it’s a matter of time until this ends.
I wanted to hear some of your opinions, feel like I need some wisdom from outside. Would you invest in something like this? Should I protect myself or just show I’m really liking him?
Thank you all 💙

2023.06.06 03:50 Commercial-Scale-566 Do I reach out to my ex?
Me and my ex boyfriend broke up a few months ago. The reason being he thought he was gay and didn’t have feelings for me like he used to, we both decided it would be best for us to not be together, however we decided to still be friends. For context, the breakup wasn’t super smooth, it was over text, and he spelled my name wrong a few times, which made me somewhat upset at him, however I understood what he was going through from when I came out, and told him I supported him and still cared about him. I thought things were fine, we’d be friendly if we saw each other at school and we continued to talk regularly for a few days, but the conversations felt dry, and I could tell he wasn’t into them, so I backed off, and figured he’d talk to me if he wanted to. This is where things started to feel different, he never texted, though he’d regularly view my Instagram stories and even sometimes vote on polls I’d post, so I assumed he wasn’t mad or upset. But when we got back to school (our breakup was right around spring break) he had almost completely changed, he wouldn’t look at me, he ran almost directly into me and didn’t acknowledge me, I thought maybe he was just having an off day. But this continued, he’d regularly avoid me and act cold and unfriendly towards me, this was shocking, because even before we dated he had a reputation for being very kind, even to people he didn’t particularly like, he had amazing manners and was a very sweet and happy person. Even other people pointed out how he now acted mean and unfriendly, but I especially noticed how he acted towards me, and it’s only gotten worse since then. I posted something on my Instagram story, and one of his best friends (who I don’t know, don’t follow and am not followed by) sent me multiple unfriendly messages in reply to it, and when I blocked the friend, my ex and a second account that the friend had were still viewing my stories. A couple days ago we were at the same party, we of course didn’t talk, however he was behind me in line and I ran into him, I apologized and told him I didn’t see him, he glared at me and didn’t respond. My friends noticed this. There was a raffle at said party, he put tickets in for everything that I did, I wasn’t aware that he had won one of the jackets I wanted, and posted something about finding a similar jacket on Etsy and wondering who won it on my story. He replied to that story telling my he won it, this surprised me bc he’s avoided me and hasn’t spoken to me in several months. And all of this makes me wonder if I somehow inadvertently hurt his feelings or upset him. I hate conflict, and when I found out we were going to the same college I wondered if I should reach out to him and ask if I had done something, so that I could apologize and we could move on. I don’t know if this would make this worse, but even if it did, we no longer go to high school together, and the chances of us having classes together at college is low. So do I reach out and ask?

2023.06.06 03:49 canadianbacon14 Search for MH Help
Okay
Halifax, I’ve seen you work wonders let’s see if you can do one for me.
I’m looking for a therapist/psychiatrist/psychologist/etc (I really don’t know which, maybe you can help with that too 😅) to talk to for overall support but mainly anxiety disorders (diagnosed) and possibly ADHD (undiagnosed, but have a lot of symptoms that match).
I’d like to have in-person sessions not online/phone, and ideally not overly expensive because insurance gives me $1500/year.
I’m also Gay, so looking for someone who is LGBTQ+ experienced/friendly… But with the way healthcare is in this province I’ll settle for not-homophobic.
Looking for recommendations in Dartmouth/Halifax (accessible by bus), but will also take any warnings/experiences you have about places/people to avoid.
Thanks!
